Heavy Riffs & Raw Energy: Stepping In as Lead Guitarist for Powersaint at Crewsade Of Metal

I was stepping in for Julius, Powersaint’s Lead Guitarist at the Crewsade Of Metal, an awesome indoor festival put on by the crew at Metalcrew Pfaffenhofen. Their whole mission is keeping the local underground scene alive and kicking, and you could feel that passion the moment we walked in. The goal for the night was simple: bring heavy, fast-paced music to a venue full of passionate metalheads, support regional bands, and give everyone a show to remember. For Powersaint, it was a fantastic opportunity to bring Bad Wörishofen’s Power Metal Sound to a new stage and party alongside a killer community.

Technical Difficulties & Turning the Energy Around

Every live musician knows that live gear has a mind of its own. Right as we were getting ready to launch into our set, we hit a few unexpected technical difficulties on stage. A brief moment of stress? Sure. But that’s live music!

Once we sorted out the stage signals, we opened up the throttles. The moment the first dual-guitar harmonies and galloping riffs kicked in, all the tech troubles were forgotten.

Powerful Heavy Metal & A Sweaty Pit

Powersaint’s sound is pure, unfiltered Power Metal – fast tempos, massive melodies, and soaring solos. Taking on lead guitar duties meant delivering relentless shredding, and the crowd made every second worth it.

The atmosphere inside the venue was absolute fire! The Pit: Relentless headbanging and intense energy from the front row to the back bar. The Stage: Pretty heaty. By mid-set, it was easily one of the sweatiest, most intense shows I’ve played in a long time. The Vibe: Complete unity between the band and the audience. The Bar: filled with happy, drunk people!

Huge Thanks to the Metalcrew Pfaffenhofen & The Fans

A massive shoutout goes to the Metalcrew Pfaffenhofen for organizing Crewsade Of Metal, putting together a fantastic lineup, and taking care of the bands behind the scenes. Venues and crews like this keep the local underground metal scene alive and thriving.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who came out, supported live local metal, and raised hell with us. Whether you were headbanging in the front line or raising a glass at the back, I hope you had as much fun as we did on stage.

Stay heavy, keep supporting live music, and keep an eye out for Powersaint’s upcoming dates!
