Where Black Stars Beckon is the debut EP from Munich’s dark metal outfit DARK SOLSTICE, released on May 23, 2025.

The three-track EP showcases the band’s fusion of brooding atmosphere, melodic heaviness, and intense dark metal energy, blending crushing riffs with haunting melodies and both aggressive and clean vocals. Inspired by extreme metal influences like Dimmu Borgir, Cradle of Filth, and Dark Funeral, the record explores themes of cosmic darkness, inner turmoil, and existential struggle while carving out a sound that feels both dramatic and modern.
